Zach St. John
Front of the House Manager
Similar to some York county residents, Zach St. John had heard of Victor’s before but had never been. That was until he interviewed for the Front of the House Manager position over 3 years ago. His start into the service industry was his senior year in high school while working at a local chain steakhouse as a busser and food runner. Upon leaving there he entered into fine dining as a busser at a local country club. Zach quickly moved onto serving and then bartending , while attending York College full time for his business degree with a management minor. Incorporating both practical and educational experience, the service industry presented a career opportunity for him. He continued to progress at the country club into an assistant dining services manager role while finishing up his Bachelor’s degree. Towards the end of his time of four and a half years at the country club, Zach had taken over as the Dining Services Manager shortly before becoming the FOH Manager at Victor’s. During his time at the country club; He refined his skills in a service focused orientation, classical cocktail training, and wine knowledge. Fortunately enough he was able to bring these skills to Victor’s today to offer a refined dining experience with a relaxed ambiance and superb service that incorporates food and beverage knowledge throughout all aspects of the restaurant. His passions in this industry are beer and wine and he loves to talk about them and further his knowledge and expertise. Zach especially enjoys pairing wine and beer with Chef George’s cuisine. If you are looking for something unique or “out there” he is a self- proclaimed bit of a beer geek so there’s always something unusual on tap.
