York, PA – Victor’s Italian Restaurant of York has made a $1,705 contribution to the Cultural Alliance of York County’s 2018 annual campaign, raising dollars to support artists and arts organizations that bring meaningful arts experiences to thousands of community members each year.  The dollars were raised through a percentage of holiday gift card sales at the restaurant.

“We could not bring arts and culture to life throughout York County without investors like Victor’s of York,” stated Jennifer Glassmyer, Cultural Alliance Annual Campaign Director.  “Funds from our annual campaign make arts experiences and arts education possible for employees and their families across York County, and make York County a vibrant place to live, work and play.  We are grateful to Victor’s Italian Restaurant for supporting arts and culture in York.”

This is a new contribution to the Cultural Alliance Annual Campaign. Thanks to an anonymous pool of donors, all new contributions are matched dollar for dollar, increasing the impact of their investment.

A neighborhood staple since 1984, Victor’s Italian Restaurant has evolved into the relaxed reflection of an Italian Trattoria. Executive Chef George Sheffer’s menu changes with the season, and highlights local products when possible.

Founded as a United Arts Fund in 1999, the Cultural Alliance’s annual campaign supports eight partner agencies that are essential to our cultural core and funds the Creative Impact Award grants that bring arts and culture to life in York County. Since its inception, the Cultural Alliance’s annual campaign has granted $9.2 million cash and more than $2 million in-kind support.
